A powerful short film telling the story of Mick Audinno, from Leeton, in the Riverina district of NSW. Movingly and compassionately shot by ACT film-maker Simon Cunich, this film documents an all-too-familiar and tragic story in contemporary Australian agriculture: the uprooting of healthy fruit trees because growers can’t compete with cheaper imports.

But it also shows glimpses of a positive food future, based around the warmth and connections of farmers’ markets.
