The New Economy Network Australia connects people across all sectors of society to facilitate a shift to sustainable and just economies.

The New Economy Network Australia (NENA) is a network of individuals and organisations working to transform Australia’s economic system so that achieving ecological health and social justice are the foundational principles.

NENA is a network of organisations and individuals working to create an ecologically healthy and socially just society by transforming Australia’s economic system.

NENA works by providing a platform for knowledge sharing, peer to peer support, cross-pollination of ideas and collaboration.

NENA works as a platform to connect those building solidarity economies in their region or sector with others transforming our economy around Australia: from food sovereignty and environmental justice, energy transitions to First Nations solidarity, to justice in housing and education, our economic systems are connected – and NENA is building the sharing and networks to support solidarity-based transformations across the system and across the country.

Come chat to Michelle Maloney, Co-founder and Director of NENA and National Convenor of the Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA) about how NENA works to connect movements, share learning, and build strategies for collective action to build a new economy in Australia.
