Doing Something Good invited seven of Australia’s leading thinkers, pioneers and ‘foodpreneurs’ to give five minute lightning talks presenting their ideas, projects or approaches to transforming our current food system to one that is sustainable, resilient and fair.

Ben Falloon has transformed Taranaki Farm — a 400 acre property in the Macedon Range from the very edge of desertification through the development of a highly productive, multi-enterprise ecological farming approach. A farm fusionist whose persistant research and implementation of cutting edge post-industrial, post chemical landscape stewardship has inspired countless young farmers across Australia to break the stagnant model of conventional agriculture and kick start the great frontier of 21st century future farming where community and ecosystem reconcile.
