The Albanese government has decided to lift restrictions on importing beef from the US – a move that has critics worried. Australia effectively banned US beef imports in 2003 following an outbreak of mad cow disease, and although the ban was technically lifted in 2019, the integration of the US, Mexico, and Canada supply chains meant that American beef was still blacklisted. Cattle farmer Tammi Jones joins 10 News+ to discuss what the impact could be for Australian farmers.
