We are launching our AFSA Manifesto, on this auspicous day.

“10 December 2010 is the second global Terra Madre Day; the day on which millions of Slow Food members and their supporters worldwide join together to celebrate food diversity and the right to good, clean and fair food. It is also the 62nd International Human Rights Day, commemorating the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted on this day in 1948 in Paris by 48 member states of the United Nations General Assembly.”

In our Manifesto, ASFA calls for a democratic, equitable, sustainable and resilient food and farming system for all Australians.

We invite you to read the Manifesto and, if you agree with what it says, to endorse it and join us in our campaign for a different and better future for food and farming in this country, and globally.
